Does CareerCopilot write essays for students?
No. CareerCopilot helps students capture evidence, find themes, ask better questions, and prepare outlines. Final student work must stay student-authored.
What can parents see?
Parents can see safe summaries, deadlines, permissioned essay-status labels, and student-approved logistics. Raw captures, reflections, and draft writing stay private unless the student explicitly shares them.
Can CareerCopilot message mentors, LinkedIn, Indeed, or schools?
No automated outreach is approved in beta. Students may prepare a request and manually send it through their chosen channel after reviewing what will be shared.
Does scholarship interest mean the student is eligible or likely to win?
No. Scholarship interest means the student is tracking a signal and next step. CareerCopilot should not claim eligibility, award likelihood, or submission status.
Can mentors contact students inside CareerCopilot?
Mentor support is invite-only and packet-based. Unknown adults cannot message students directly, and students can revoke or report mentor packets.
What happens when something feels wrong?
Support reviews safety, privacy, parent-surprise, source-quality, and mentor/report concerns. Wave expansion stays on hold when serious issues are open.
Why this matters
Teen ambition is messy. The product should respect that.
