Students
Your raw story is not a family dashboard.
Capture pressure, growth, mistakes, leadership, and uncertainty without immediately turning it into parent-visible content.
Trust architecture
CareerCopilot is not a productivity wrapper or a surveillance dashboard. It is a permissioned system for turning real life into useful evidence, better questions, safer sharing, and accountable AI-augmented next moves.
Students
Capture pressure, growth, mistakes, leadership, and uncertainty without immediately turning it into parent-visible content.
Parents
ParentHub is built around safe pulses, deadlines, permission previews, and conversation prompts instead of private draft access.
Mentors
Mentor requests should arrive with a student-approved purpose, evidence packet, boundaries, and revocation path.
Agents
CareerCopilot agents are designed to queue useful tasks with source trail, confidence, and privacy impact before action.
A student saves a real moment: tournament break, lab work, service shift, rehearsal, campus event, or family logistics.
The coach asks one useful question and turns the answer into evidence only after student confirmation.
Evidence can move into essays, university gaps, event prep, mentor requests, or ParentHub summaries through explicit controls.
Sensitive shares, agent approvals, and permission changes are tracked so the system stays accountable.
Guardrails
No final essay ghostwriting.
No raw teen reflection in founder metrics.
No parent access without student-controlled permissions.
No automated third-party outreach without explicit user action.
No mentor packet without preview and approval.
No under-13 independent accounts in MVP.
Beta FAQ
No. CareerCopilot helps students capture evidence, find themes, ask better questions, and prepare outlines. Final student work must stay student-authored.
Parents can see safe summaries, deadlines, permissioned essay-status labels, and student-approved logistics. Raw captures, reflections, and draft writing stay private unless the student explicitly shares them.
No automated outreach is approved in beta. Students may prepare a request and manually send it through their chosen channel after reviewing what will be shared.
No. Scholarship interest means the student is tracking a signal and next step. CareerCopilot should not claim eligibility, award likelihood, or submission status.
Mentor support is invite-only and packet-based. Unknown adults cannot message students directly, and students can revoke or report mentor packets.
Support reviews safety, privacy, parent-surprise, source-quality, and mentor/report concerns. Wave expansion stays on hold when serious issues are open.
Why this matters
Students are already moving between school, sports, music, robotics, jobs, service, family obligations, university visits, and online networks. CareerCopilot should help them keep the evidence, judgment, and support that would otherwise disappear in the rush.
